About us
West End Community Organisation is a grassroots community centre in Burnley, dedicated to serving a neighbourhood facing high levels of deprivation. We provide a safe, welcoming space where local people can access practical support services, engage in positive activities, and feel connected rather than isolated. For many residents, our centre is a vital lifeline.
It offers a place to turn for guidance, friendship, and encouragement during tough times.
Our work is focused on reducing loneliness, enhancing well-being, and strengthening community resilience. We organize community sessions and groups that unite people, promote volunteering, and help individuals build confidence and skills. Additionally, we signpost residents to access wider support services, ensuring that it’s easier for them to receive the right help at the right time.
